FIREPLACE
Important!! Please read completely
Unless you want to be smoked out, be sure the back door to the cabin is
open and fireplace door is cracked approx. ¼” when you start your fire!
Also, be sure the air control located on the bottom middle of the
fireplace is pushed all the way in.
Never use gasoline, gasoline-type lantern fuel, kerosene, charcoal
lighter fluid, or similar liquids to start or freshen up a fire in this
stove.
If using a firestarter, use only products specifically designed for
stoves.
If the smoke does not pass up the chimney, ball up one sheet of
newspaper, place it in the center of the grate and light it. This should
start the chimney drafting (this eliminates “cold air blockage”).
Use plenty of kindling to ensure the stove reaches a proper temperature.
Once the kindling is burning rapidly, place a few larger pieces of wood
onto the fire.
MAKE SURE YOU USE GLOVES WHEN OPENING THE DOOR TO FIREPLACE! THIS
BECOMES EXTREMELY HOT.
TELEVISON DIRECTIONS
The television must be on channel 4 for Satellite, DVD, VCR to work.
Make sure Satellite is on (this is the little black box on the floor
under the stairs). Use Dish remote control once the television and
Satellite is turned on to switch channels. Make sure you point the
remote towards Satellite box to change channels.
For DVD/VCR main TV is on channel 4, turn on the DVD player (located on
top of Satellite box) With APEX remote, press video button to Video 2
then use DVD remote to choose DVD or VCR. Then to return to normal TV
after movie, press video button on APEX remote control until the TV
picture returns.
